If you have a benefit that allows claims, you can submit claims directly in the employee portal. Each claim uses part of your available claim allowance balance.

How Do I Submit a Claim?

  1. Go to My Benefits and open the benefit you want to claim against
  2. On the Benefit Details page, select Make a Claim at the bottom of the screen

This will open the claim wizard, which guides you through three simple steps.

Step 1: Claim Date & Category

In this step, you’ll be asked to:

  • Enter the date the expense was incurred
  • Select the claim category that applies
  • Select Next to continue.

The category list depends on the date you select and will appear once a date has been chosen.

  •  You can select Cancel at any time to exit without saving.

    When Can't I Continue?

You won’t be able to continue if:

    • You have no remaining claim balance, or
    • The cut‑off date for submitting the claim has passed

In these cases, a message will explain why the claim can’t be submitted.

Step 2: Claim Details

Next, you’ll enter more information about your claim. The fields shown depend on the category you selected and may include:

  • Reason – A short description of the claim
  • Claimant name – Choose Self or Other (for a dependant)
  • Relationship – Only required if claiming for someone else
  • Provider – The organisation or service provider (if applicable)
  • Clinic name – If relevant
  • Clinic type – Public or Private
  • Claim amount – The full cost of the expense

Below the Claim amount field, you’ll see:

  • Whether the claim is subject to tax or National Insurance
  • Any personal contribution you’re required to pay
(for example, if you need to cover 50% of the cost yourself)

Select Next to continue or Previous to go back.
Select Cancel to exit the wizard.

Step 3: Supporting Documents & Summary

Before submitting your claim, you'll be able to review all the information you've entered.
You'll also be asked to upload supporting documents, such as receipts.

How Do I Upload Receipts?

  • Select Choose File.
  • Select the receipt you want to upload.
  • Repeat if additional documents are required.

Please note:

  • You can upload up to five receipts per claim.
  • At least one receipt is required.
  • You can remove a receipt by selecting the X icon.
  • Files must meet the platform's size and file type requirements.
    • If a file doesn't meet these requirements, it won't be accepted.

What Is the Payable Claim Amount?

The payable claim amount is the amount that counts against your available allowance.
It is calculated using:

  • Your remaining balance.
  • Any personal contribution you are required to make.
