The Shout Outs section in the employee portal highlights moments of recognition across the organisation. Here, you can see public recognition shared by colleagues for achievements, as well as automatic shout outs for occasions such as new starters, work anniversaries, and birthdays.
Shout Outs Feed
The shout outs feed shows all recognition messages in one place, with the most recent appearing at the top. Each entry represents a single moment of recognition.
Your Recent Shout Outs
If you’ve received new shout outs that you haven’t viewed yet, they’ll appear at the top of the feed in a section called Your Recent Shout Outs.
Once you’ve read them, you can clear this section by selecting the X in the top‑right corner.
Search for a Colleague
At the top of the shout outs page, you can use the search bar to find a specific colleague. This will show only the shout outs related to that person.
Filter Shout Outs
You can also use the filter in the top‑right corner of the page to narrow down the feed by recognition type, such as:
- Birthdays
- New starters
- Work anniversaries
- Peer‑to‑peer shout outs
This makes it easier to find the recognitions you’re most interested in.
