What is a Fulfilment Date?

A Fulfilment Date is the date you expect to receive, collect, or gain access to a benefit.

Examples include:

  • Delivery of a product
  • Collection of equipment
  • Access to a service

For benefits that use a Fulfilment Date, your benefit does not start automatically when you make your selection. Instead, the benefit start date is calculated using the Fulfilment Date you choose.

Your benefit end date and any applicable deductions will also be calculated from this date.

How to Select a Benefit with a Fulfilment Date

  1. Log in to your benefits portal.
  2. Navigate to My Benefits.
  3. Select a benefit that requires a Fulfilment Date.

4. Review the indicative Start Date and End Date displayed.
5. Enter your expected Fulfilment Date.
6. The system will automatically update:

  • The Start Date
  • The End Date
  • The benefit duration
  • Any associated costs or deductions

7. Review the updated details.
8. Complete the Review & Confirm process to submit your selection.

Tip: Select the most realistic Fulfilment Date possible to ensure your benefit start date and any payroll deductions align with when you actually receive the benefit.

Can I change my Fulfilment Date?

Yes, but you cannot update it yourself through the portal - you will need to contact your HR or Benefits team.

When a Fulfilment Date is updated:

  • The system creates a new benefit selection using the revised date.
  • Related dates and costs are recalculated automatically.
  • The updated selection is submitted for approval.

The updated benefit will remain in a pending approval status until reviewed.

Important things to be aware of:

  • If your benefit has already been amended, the Fulfilment Date cannot be changed until that amendment is removed.
  • It is not possible to have overlapping benefit selections, so any change must not conflict with other selections you may have.
  • When the Fulfilment Date is updated, your selection is effectively re-created and will need to go through an approval process again.

Once the change is submitted, it will move into a pending approval status. An Admin will then either approve or reject it:

  • If approved, your updated selection becomes active.
  • If rejected, your original selection will not automatically be reinstated and would need to be added again manually if required.

If you’d like this change to be made, you should contact your Admin team, who can review your request and confirm any implications before proceeding.

Why might a Fulfilment Date need to change?

A Fulfilment Date may need to be updated if:

  • A provider experiences delays fulfilling the order.
  • A product or service becomes available earlier than expected.
  • A delivery or collection date changes.
