As you make and submit benefit selections, you may see status banners on the benefit details page. These banners help you understand the current status of your benefit selection and whether any further action is needed.

These banners show whether your benefit is:

  • Requested but not yet confirmed
  • Approved
  • Pending approval

Why Can't I See a Status Banner?

When you first open a benefit, no status banner will be displayed.

Status banners only appear after you have started making benefit selections or submitted changes.

What Does "Benefit Selection Not Checked Out" Mean?

This status means you have made a benefit selection, but you have not yet completed the Review & Confirm process.

Your selection will not be submitted until you:

  1. Select Review & Confirm.
  2. Review your benefit selections.
  3. Accept any required terms and conditions.
  4. Confirm your choices.

The Review & Confirm button is displayed at the bottom of the My Benefits page and shows how many changes are waiting to be submitted.

Important: If you do not complete the Review & Confirm process, your benefit selection will not be submitted.

What Does "Benefit Approved" Mean?

This status means your benefit selection has been successfully submitted and approved.

Once approved:

  • Your benefit will be processed.
  • The benefit start date will be displayed on the benefit tile.
  • You'll receive confirmation of your selection.

What Does "Benefit Selection is Pending Approval" Mean?

This status means your benefit selection has been submitted and is awaiting review.
This is common for benefits that require additional checks or approval, such as:

  • Holiday Trading
  • Contractual benefits
  • Benefits that require provider validation

No further action is usually required while the selection is being reviewed.

Once the review has been completed, the benefit will either:

  • Be approved, or
  • Be declined

If additional information is required, you may be contacted by your employer or benefits administrator.
